Kujichagulia is to define and name ourselves, as well as to create and speak for ourselves.

​

This optional event allows our children to come together again to select a name that defines who they are

as they begin to their journey into adulthood.

This event is a celebration of their accomplishments and their upcoming adventures.

​

This event includes workshops:

​

Self-Determination,

College FAQs,

College 101,

Personal Safety,

Mental Health,

Fiscal Fitness, and

Healthy Choices.

 

This event ends with a Rights of Passage Ceremony in which the child blesses their family.

​

Pay entire fee by April 8, 2019. The cost includes programming, activity, a special token and up to 2 paid

guests.
